Royal Enfield Meteor 350 Review.

Overview

After a short ride review, this is the best bike in the segment for long rides cruising. Braking distance is minimum comparing to the highness 350. Royal Enfield now stopped their thunderbird bikes and rebuilds their iconic motorbike the Meteor. We know that meteor is an older model of RE before the coming of thunderbird bikes in Indian automobile markets. Now, these bikes focused on all bike enthusiasts, especially RE Enthusiasts. Because this bike is more improved in all parameters in technically and mechanical wise also. The all-new bike has a 349cc single-cylinder air-cooled engine. Change in bore diameter, stroke length, and placing of an overhead cam gives less vibration and sound. The bike is carried out with sensors in all parts that will help for fast troubleshooting and perfect service.

Riding positions are best because of the raised handlebar, low-profile seats that will help for better stability and controls in any road conditions. Meteor consoles are technically ahead of that’s giving more than enough information. Also, have a tripper navigation system which is powered by Google maps. The bike has inbuilt accessories like a back rest and wind shield so that don’t waste money for average customization.

Performance

349cc single cylinder 4 stroke BS6 air –oil-cooled engine gives an output of 20.2bhp and 27nm torque.

Key features

The main features are the digital-analog instrument cluster. Meteor 350 has a tipper navigation system powered by Google maps. It gives turn by turn navigations through the digital screen. The instrument cluster will connect smartphones through Bluetooth and also it gets an additional sub charging port also so, don’t get worried about the charge of the phones for long rides. The speedometer also included a digital display that shows the trip meter, gear position indicators, time, and odometer.

The headlights Halogen bulb is used for the headlamp and the border led round lamp gives a better night illumination.

Taillights LED lamp with ring-type light for better visibility and giving better road presence also.

Windshield The inbuilt shield is good for fewer winds. For long rides, a customized wind shield is better that will give more confidence for top speed.

Prices & variants

Three variants are launched by Enfield. Supernova, stellar, and fireball. 1.90lakhs for the supernova variant which is the top-end model and it has an inbuilt windshield, backrest and the alloy wheels are machine cut types, 1.81 laky for middle variants and low end have 1.75Lakh.
